In November our Quality Checkers team were invited by our local MP, Dr Tania Mathias, to visit the Houses of Parliament. Tania wanted to say thank you to the team for all the work they’ve been doing over the past year.
The Quality Checkers answered lots of Tania’s questions about the quality checking work they do and about their experience of living with a learning disability.
Tania told us that she became an MP because she wants to make a difference to the lives of local people and to
help the government make good decisions about things that really matter to people.
We had tea and scones in the MP’s tea room followed by a very interesting tour of the Houses of Parliament.
We all had a great time!
